People often ask why we should study history, and the traditional answer is "to learn from the past." However, this perspective may be overly idealistic. The essence of history seems not to have truly changed; despite the continuous evolution of external factors such as technology, clothing, and diet, the core of human nature remains constant.

For thousands of years, the basic pattern of human society seems to be repeating: the same mistakes continue to be made, and unjust fates are still being played out. Whether it is Yue Fei or Yuan Chenghuan, the tragedies of history seem destined to reappear in different forms.

This does not mean that history is worthless. On the contrary, it reveals the inherent logic of events. Those who can truly draw wisdom from history are the wise ones who can transcend the limitations of history. However, most people find it difficult to do this because we are all constrained by our own desires and weaknesses.

We often know that certain behaviors are wrong, yet find it difficult to correct them. Those that can be corrected are called shortcomings, while those that are hard to correct are weaknesses. Those who can truly transcend history and gain insight into human nature were referred to as sages in ancient times.

Turning our attention to the modern financial market, especially the cryptocurrency sector, we can observe similar patterns. There is a huge disparity of power between the market and traders. The market possesses almost unlimited capital and time, while individual traders have limited resources. This inequality allows traders to gain only temporary advantages at specific moments or in certain aspects.

The cryptocurrency market often exhibits non-linearity and unpredictability, making it often unsuitable for trading. However, many inexperienced traders, like the protagonist in the literary classic "Don Quixote," continuously charge at "windmills," ultimately achieving nothing and even suffering significant losses.

Success in trading is not achieved overnight, but failure can come suddenly and violently. This reality reminds us to maintain humility and vigilance when facing the market, continuously learn and adjust our strategies in order to survive and thrive in this challenging field.
